Nicholas Sobey

Nicholas Sobey

Nick Sobey graduated with his Bachelor of Laws (Third Class Honours) from Queensland's University of Technology and was admitted as a Lawyer to the Supreme Court in October 2020.

Whilst studying, Nick also worked with large law firms in Brisbane as both a Law Clerk and Paralegal in  busy, dynamic, high pressure workplaces.  His main area of experience is in debt recovery litigation,  insolvency and commercial matters.  He has managed his own files and briefed Counsel in a variety of matters.

SPM Law has tempted Nick away from the big smoke and we welcome his energy, fresh approach and enthusiasm. Nick will work alongside our other commercial lawyers in a variety of matters and is also assisting our very busy conveyancing department.

A friendly and calm person with great attention to detail and sense of humour, Nick is fitting right in with the team and clients, it's almost like he's family.....

A born and bred Sunshine Coast local, Nick attended St Andrew's College and played rugby for the Noosa Dolphins.  Rugby has had to take a back seat because as if being a new lawyer isn't enough, Nick is also completing his final year of his second degree, a Bachelor of Behavioural Science.
