Wine TastingWine Tasting

The SPM Law Inaugural Wine tasting evening was a great success. Guests were treated to 5 different sparkling wine and champagne tastings matched with delicious canapes. A huge thank you to Tony Cox, Sommelier to the stars and Gene Quinlan , chef to the stars for making the night so enjoyable.  We were even treated to a bit of fun when Tony used a sabre to open the champagne!  We are looking forward to the red wine tasting evening in May.

International Women's Day   8 March

Amy, Gabby and Suze from SPM, along with their invited guests joined the Zonta Club of Noosa at the Riverdeck Restaurant & Bar for their annual International Women’s Day Breakfast. With ABC’s Annie Gaffney as MC, our ladies were treated to a presentation by Frederika (“Freddie”) Steen AM on the plight of female refugees and migrants in Australia.
Following on from last year’s theme of “Pledge for Parity;” this year we were asked to “Be Bold for Change.” Freddie’s presentation was a timely reminder that each one of us; men and women alike, can be a leader within our own spheres of influence and take action to accelerate gender parity.
