Name – Wendy Hubbard
Job – Paralegal
Experience – 25 years at SPM. Prior to that 16 years in the Department of Defence in Melbourne.
Born – Coburg (home of Pentridge Prison) in Melbourne
Three things about me you may not know:
1. I was in the Reserve Army for 2 ½ years in the RAEME Corp.
2. I spent 2 ½ years in WA on an aboriginal mission.
3. I have been involved in amateur theatre for over 20 years and have won awards for my comedic ability.
Favourite bar – Golf Club at Tewantin on a Friday night.
Favourite restaurant – Krung Thep Thai Restaurant in Noosaville. I love Thai food and this is as close to genuine Thai as I have tasted here.The ambience is great too.
If I could invite three people to a dinner party – Billy Connelly, Ernie Dingo, Owen Wilson. Trouble is I would be so star struck I’d be unable to hold a conversation.
If you could spend one day with anyone who would it be? – My Dad. He died when I was 15.
Bucket list holiday destination – Cruise around Caribbean.

1. My strange last name comes from Finland ( where my father was born)
2. Last year, not knowing what it was, I walked into a “Gympie Gympie” plant wearing shorts (it was brutal – I encourage you to google it and learn from stupidity.)
3. I am a huge baseball tragic
Favourite Restaurant – El Capitano – their lamb and feta pizza would be enough by itself but the whole menu and fit out is great.

1. I run a non for profit sporting club called Yaroomba Boardriders.
2. My nickname is Hookie.
3. I love to cook.
Favourite local bar/restaurant and why: - Hand of Fatima in Peregian Beach, the food is amazing.
If you could spend one day with anyone who would it be? - Aussie comedian Matt Okine
Bucket list holiday destination? - Bora Bora. I love everything ocean and this place would be amazing to see.
